Simon Zwartkruis (1969) is sinds begin 2008 werkzaam als verslaggever bij Voetbal International . Daarvoor werkte hij tien jaar bij Sportweek en eerder vijf jaar bij het Haarlems Dagblad . Sinds 1998 is hij vaste volger van het Nederlands elftal. In die hoedanigheid was Zwartkruis als journalist aanwezig bij vier WK’s en vijf EK’s. In 2003 schreef hij de autobiografie van Clarence Seedorf.
